An EPA office building in Chicago is facing an outbreak of Legionella bacteria and elevated lead levels in drinking water, according to an employee union group.

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 704 has filed a formal complaint over the contamination, alleging that EPA is violating requirements in the union’s collective bargaining agreement meant to ensure workers’ health and safety.
